WEISS ANDERSEN

WEISS ANDERSEN

Per Weiss Andersen was born in Denmark in 1959. In the late 80ies, he was a professional musician while studying at the School of Architecture in Aarhus, where he graduated as an industrial designer in 1988. He started up working for Friis & Moltke and Schmidt-Hammer & Lassen - some of the famous Danish architects.

Since 1989 Per Weiss Andersen has been the head of Innovation Design Office and responsible for the concept, product design, and marketing. This work resulted in a close cooperation with Verner Panton just before his death in the late 90’ies. Together they developed the Phantom chair and the Panto Beam lamp.
